After the war Schuricht never again conducted Verdi's Requiem. As already beautifully demonstrated in the Missa Solemnis and the Brahms' Requiem he is a master of the great symphonic form, in which he not only draws in the soloists as essential elements but the chorus as well. This document, together with the Mahler (ARC-3.1), was discovered in the archives of NOB Amsterdam.
