In 2006, Note 1 GmbH (Heidelberg) has licensed the rights to the former founder of archiphon, Werner Unger, who continues his discographic activities on a private basis, according to the motto: "The best form of preservation is dissemination"

In spite of their historical importance many rarities
cannot come to a break-even within a regular CD production - not even within the
frame of the less commercial archiphon label. Therefore, I offer to collectors
some remastered CDs with rarities of my archive (virtually the former archive of archiphon) on a private basis at low cost.
The centre of my edition will be unpublished Klemperer recordings.
Viele Raritäten sind trotz ihrer historischen
Bedeutung auf dem kommerziellen Markt nicht mehr kostendeckend zu
publizieren. Um solche Aufnahmen den an der Sache Interessierten zugänglich zu
machen, biete ich Schwerpunkte und Raritäten meines Archivs auf privater Basis
als CD an.
