Carl Schuricht
(1880 - 1967)

archiphon was the first label to initiate a series of Schuricht radio recordings. Thanks to the help of Martha Schuricht, the conductor's widow, and of Dr. Gabriel S. Saab, pupil, friend and patron of Carl Schuricht, this CD series was the beginning and the basis of archiphon's former commercial activities. A recent 18-CD edition by Hänssler contains (nearly) all Schuricht recordings with the orchestra of Radio Stuttgart (SDR).

Within my private edition I intend to fill up still remaining gaps in Schuricht's discography.
